Michael Franti Embraces Our Humanity with New Podcast

Famous for feel-good hits such as “Sound of Sunshine” and “Say Hey (I Love You),” Michael Franti is a globally recognized as a humanitarian, activist, filmmaker and as a musician revered for his high-energy live shows.

Throughout his career, Franti has delivered five Top 30 Hot AC singles, eight Top 25 AAA Singles and three Billboard Top 5 Rock Albums. In January of last year, he released his self-directed documentary Stay Human, which won an array of awards at film festivals worldwide and influenced his writing for his most recent album Stay Human Vol. II.
 
Michael Franti and his backing band Spearhead plan to drop their new album, Work Hard And Be Nice, on June 19.

In advance of his new album, Franti has just launched Stay Human, a new podcast that aims to show “how we hold on to our humanity in the most challenging times of our lives.”
 
To celebrate the podcast’s launch, Franti has dropped five episodes that include conversations with Pat Monahan of Train, G. Love, Nattali Rize, Satsang and Abigail Stauffer.
 
Other guests on tap include Lukas Nelson, Natasha Bedingfield, Trevor Hall, HIRIE, Xiuhtezcatl, Paul Janeway of St. Paul & the Broken Bones and many more.
 
Select episodes will also feature an accompanying video episode, to be published on Franti’s Stay Human Podcast YouTube Playlist.
 
The Stay Human podcast is released independently by Michael Franti and Activist Artists Management.
 
While Work Hard And Be Nice doesn’t come out until next month, Franti has already released the first single, “I Got You,” as well as “I’m On Your Side” and “How We Living.”
