In place of touring, singer-songwriter Ron Pope will livestream special performances from his living room for the duration of the current U.S. quarantine.

From this point forward, he’ll perform at 1:30pm and 7:30pm CT on Wednesdays and at 7:30pm CT on Saturdays.

“Part of the service that musicians can play for society, for our community, is to help people not focus on the negative things surrounding them,” he says in an interview with The Tennesseean.

In the wake of the Nashville storms a few weeks ago, Pope performed at WMOT’s All Hands on Deck! Tornado Relief Show at Nashville’s City Winery.

He also recently released a music video for his new song “Bone Structure,” a somber piano ballad that puts his husky voice up front in the mix.

You can see the performances via Facebook Live. Pope’s new album Bone Structure available now via his own Brooklyn Basement Records.
