Indie rockers Iron & Wine just announced that they’ll release a deluxe edition of their latest album, Hen’s Teeth, on Sep. 22 via Sub Pop. This expanded edition features six new recordings in total: four previously unreleased songs along with acoustic versions of two fan favorites from Hen’s Teeth.

The four unreleased songs come from sessions done in Los Angeles during the recording of Hen’s Teeth.  “California Sober” was the last song written and recorded during the sessions.

Along with “California Sober,” Iron & Wine is also sharing an acoustic version of “In Your Ocean.”

Hen’s Teeth was released in February of this year and featured two duets with the multi-Grammy-winning band, I’m With Her, along with a cast of musicians including Griffin Goldsmith, Sebastian Steinberg, David Garza, Beth Goodfellow, Paul Cartwright, Tyler Chester and Kyle Crane.

The band will begin its North American headline tour on Oct. 8 in Denver, CO. The tour concludes on Oct, 29 in Columbia, SC. See below for a complete list of shows. Tickets can be purchased here.
