‘Day of the Dead’ Returning to Theaters for 40th Anniversary

George A. Romero’s classic 1985 zombie flick Day of the Dead will return to theaters and drive-ins this summer for its 40th anniversary with shows across the country starting July 1 and running through Oct. 31. Find a screening near you at DAY40TH.com

The official trailer for the theatrical re-release can now be found via Bloody Disgusting.

In November 2021, Red Band Releasing started helping book the original Dawn of the Dead into venues across U.S. and Canada, eventually getting it shown in both 2-D and 3-D on over 500 screens. Now, Red Band is back at it.

Red Band Releasing’s blog, DAY40TH.COM, has a list of dates and theaters that will be updated every few days starting in mid-June.

In addition, Red Band Releasing will have the new Day of the Dead and all the Dawn of the Dead posters available for purchase.
