Lollapalooza 2013: Some fans stood out in the crowd
Lollapalooza 2013 appeals to people of all ages and interests. With its diverse artistic lineup and pretty fantastic weather, the three-day fest attracted some 300,000 people this year, packing the mile-long Grant Park in Chicago. With an audience that size, it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. That’s why so many folks fashion distinctive “find me” markers. Fest-goers sport tall poles festooned with everything from stuffed animals to flags to express their personalities and help their friends locate them in a sea of enthusiastic fans. A few of our favorites? A giant, blowup Spiderman, an enormous cutout of Honey Boo Boo and reversible Simpsons characters. We caught a few “faces in the crowd” on camera to share with you. See a few pics below, check out our full crowd Flickr set or see all of our photos from Lolla.
