Dave Hill: Serious about Comedy
A Cleveland native, Dave Hill started out playing in area bands such as Sons of Elvis, Cobra Verde and Uptown Sinclair before becoming a standup comedian and author (he hasn’t given up on rock ‘n’ roll, though, and still plays in the power pop band Valley Lodge). His first book, last year’s Tasteful Nudes, just arrived on paperback this month and Hill came through Cleveland to do a reading. We caught up with him beforehand to talk about the book and his various other projects.
